Seven Quintas
Experts in luxury real estate in the Algarve, Seven Quintas takes its name from the Portuguese idiom ‘estar nas suas sete quintas’, which very roughly translates to ‘be in your seventh heaven’.

And the Portuguese saying, harking back to the times when the king of Portugal and his entourage felt their happiest when spending weekends in seven ‘quintas’ in Seixal, just outside Lisbon, perfectly reinforces this concept of finding our clients a new home where they can feel complete fulfilment.

Our expertise and strength is finding the right property for you in the Algarve, even if that property is not currently on our books. That is why we put “property search” explicitly in our name. It is always very rewarding to match a property with a client. So it is very important to have a good understanding of what you are looking for. And by property, we mean a well built and properly registered property in a good location, be it a holiday home, a permanent residence and/or an investment property.

Hildegard Borkent
Director
Hildegard Borkent, Dutch national but with her heart firmly handed over to the Algarve, made the very most of her passion for languages and an innate wanderlust to travel the globe before discovering her true love – Portugal. A background in international business, plus a passion for the region meant that real estate was a perfect fit.
More than twenty years down the line, and having founded Seven Quintas Property Search in 2007, Hildegard has a sharpened sense of the local real estate market, developing an enviable insider knowledge of property negotiation in the region, while at the same time losing none of the human touch. A relatable confidant in the often-confusing world of Portuguese real estate transactions, Hildegard uses her knowhow to the clear advantage of her clients.
An unbiased, friendly face, armed with all the qualifications, certifications, licenses, and, above all else, experience, you could ever need, Hildegard is the perfect ally for finding, or selling, exclusive luxury properties in the Algarve.

Alexandra Sampaio
Office Manager
Alexandra is Portuguese and has lived in the Algarve since the age of six. Warm and attentive in all her dealings, Alexandra takes her time to understand the requirements of every client, making full use of almost 20 years of customer service experience to forge genuine relationships.
Inspired by Hildegard’s enthusiasm for the Algarve real estate market, Alexandra readily grasped the challenge and chance to further her career with Seven Quintas.
Her role now involves the coordination and administration of all matters relating to real estate sales and property management, keeping in close contact with clients and ensuring day-to-day matters run smoothly.
