Seven Quintas
Experts in luxury real estate in the Algarve, Seven Quintas takes its name from the Portuguese idiom ‘estar nas suas sete quintas’, which very roughly translates to ‘be in your seventh heaven’.

And the Portuguese saying, harking back to the times when the king of Portugal and his entourage felt their happiest when spending weekends in seven ‘quintas’ in Seixal, just outside Lisbon, perfectly reinforces this concept of finding our clients a new home where they can feel complete fulfilment.

Our expertise and strength is finding the right property for you in the Algarve, even if that property is not currently on our books. That is why we put “property search” explicitly in our name. It is always very rewarding to match a property with a client. So it is very important to have a good understanding of what you are looking for. And by property, we mean a well built and properly registered property in a good location, be it a holiday home, a permanent residence and/or an investment property.

Hildegard Borkent, Dutch national but with her heart firmly handed over to the Algarve, made the very most of her passion for languages and an innate wanderlust to travel the globe before discovering her true love – Portugal. A background in international business, plus a passion for the region meant that real estate was a perfect fit.
More than twenty years down the line, and having founded Seven Quintas Property Search in 2007, Hildegard has a sharpened sense of the local real estate market, developing an enviable insider knowledge of property negotiation in the region, while at the same time losing none of the human touch. A relatable confidant in the often-confusing world of Portuguese real estate transactions, Hildegard uses her knowhow to the clear advantage of her clients.
